The Doctor Who - Retro Sprite Gallery

Intro - This webpage is a collection of Doctor Who characters by myself (Carnivac) and Schu as they might have looked in a 1980's video game. These are based around the color palette of the NES games console (though not it's colors per sprite limit). This is an ongoing thing with new characters being added whenever Schu or I have a lil bit of spare time. Some characters will appear several times due to several reasons (the most obvious being the Doctors regeneration, but others include change of costume for various characters mainly including the Doctor and his companions). There's no real order in which these are created. I just pixel whichever character I think would be fun to do at the time or that they might go with a character I've previously added. The sprites are shown at double their real height (mainly to easily see them without zooming in). Check the updates list at the bottom to see what has recently been added.

No real point to any of it but it's just good pixel practice for us and it's fun to do. Click the Tardis to travel back to my main website if need be.

Note: Firefox 3.0 is blurring these images as they are scaled up x2 of their actual file dimensions. If you're using FF3 then save the pictures to your computer to view them in a paint program and zoom in that if necessary til I think up the best way to sort this out (currently very busy with my game projects) or if FF3.1 has an option to turn that damn blur crap off.
